Is there any other evidence that suggests "I Rise" is officially a single? I believe the remix EP was distributed in an attempt to promote it on the US dance charts since its debut last week, but does that confirm its status as the third single from Madame X?

I agree that a remix EP alone is not enough evidence to say that this is a single. It would be preferable to get some sort of official announcement from either Madonna or her label or an indication that it was sent out to radio.

I agree. Why is this being considered an official single without any announcement by Madonna, her management or her record company? Who decided that it was a single? Surely a consensus needs to be reached
