Plot

It'll be airing on Saturday, so can we hold the plot off until then? It contains unnecessary details, and looks more like notes than a plot. And the cliffhanger question?

For now, I'll just be fixing the typos and deleting the unnecessary details. Criminally Vulgar ( talk) 07:50, 6 November 2008 (UTC) reply

Plot

It says that Freddie plugs his camcorder into the iWeb Award screen. Should it say iWeb Awards screen?

Muffins

This whole article is ridden with the word "muffin" and other false info, but it's rooted so deeply I can't find the version to revert this page to, because a lot of idiots have just edited over it. So yeah, if someone could actually fix that. 94.211.39.152 ( talk) 14:51, 26 December 2011 (UTC) reply

Racism and other bad things in the episode, and if that could be brought up in the article

Hi, so recently, I saw quite a few people critisise this episode about numerous inaccuracies about Japan culture and racist depictions of Asian people. From what I saw, numerous reviews and people online pointed out that the episode really poorly depics Japanese culture, instead showing bland mix of general Asian stereotypes and pop cultural depictons. Then, it's also pointed out that the Japanese dialogue in the episode was mix of gibberish, badly-translated google text, and names of Japanese companies. Also, apparently, at one point they say Japanese slur, roughly translating to R-word. Also, people criticised depiction of Japanese characters, as racist and based on bad stereotypes. And I thought that it could be interesting thing to point out in the article. But I got most of what I wrote about from a few YouTube video reviews and Reddit post. And I don't know if there are any actual proper sources that could be used to brought those points out. I sadly doubt there are any articles talking about this issue, since I doubt anybody important cared to talk about random 2000s Nickelodeon special. Need a reliable source that talks about this. Generally inaccuracies in depicting other cultures are due to lack of care and adequate research as opposed to a deliberate attempt to mock the culture which seems what the reviews you have seen are basically alleging. I can believe that it was more a lack of time and money to do it properly and caring more about making it for American audience who wouldn't notice inaccuracies. I wouldn't be surprised if the production people got all their information about Japanese culture by watching anime thinking that source is accurate.
