The article currently says that it was established in May 1981, reading this history ( http://www.isesco.org.ma/history/) i would probably say that it was originally founded in May 1979 which was the date of the founding resolution. I will edit this but please correct me. -- LialSE ( talk) 12:13, 25 January 2017 (UTC)
It would be helpful to have a redirect from "ISESCO" to this article. I am not sure how to set it up. -- A12n 20:11, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
Was ISESCO originally called Islamic States Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organisation? I find only one authoritative use of it on the web at http://www.maldivesinfo.gov.mv/news.php?newsid=6926 , but seem to recall that name from an older print publication. -- A12n 20:48, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
The result of the move request was: Moved to Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (note the corrected formatting). This has been open two weeks without opposition, so it is fair to say it is non-controversial. ( closed by non-admin page mover) Calidum 20:15, 16 July 2020 (UTC)
Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization → Islamic world Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization – The executive council of the organization has officially changed it's name on January 30 2020, all details are already available on this page. If your reasoning includes search engine results, please prioritize searches limited to reliable sources (e.g. books, news, scholarly papers) over other web results. Do not sign this.
