Name in title; tree relating

The title "House of Santen": "Van" or "von" in a name should not be translated to "of" or "de".

The Heraldry belongs to Hans Paul von Zanten, my ancestor, related to Hieronymus and to a mayor of Emden.

The references of the first three notes do not mention "Santen". A relationship with the Johann is, in my opinion, unclear and unlikely.

Van Santen is an old name. Descendants in the Middle Ages are unknown, so there are now many distinguishable family trees. Rvvz ( talk) 15:21, 19 February 2023 (UTC) reply
