This may be a sacrilegious quesiton, but did Hot Chip cut an Outback Steakhouse radio jingle? If not, the sound is so similar that it's worth noting that an ad exec somewhere said, "we need this to sound like Hot Chip."-- Jeffauxier 04:11, 14 August 2006 (UTC)
as much as I love the description of HC as "bedroom Neptunes," the review cited actually names Wikipedia as the originator of that phrase. if so, it's not exactly proper to say "they have been described as _____" without an external source. -- Inarcadiaego 09:04, 30 October 2006 (UTC)
Is the word 'Kraft' a reference to Kraftwerk or Kraft food? Answer me. -- JP 18:08, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
Why is this section needed? I think it should be removed, there is nothing special about this gig. PlazzTT 21:58, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
The tone of this is wrong - it reads like a pop mag not an encyclopedia. We don't need all the band member trivia and we need more on their sound, influences etc.
Have a look at Math Rock - could Hot Chip fall under that genre? Welshleprechaun ( talk) 00:45, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
They covered Vampire Weekend's Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa with Peter Gabriel. Although it is not a single I think it is worth mentioning, no? Magical Mackenzie ( talk) 21:59, 17 January 2009 (UTC)
The release date says February the first, and is unsourced, whereas the article for the album itself says the eighth, and is sourced. Shouldn't this article be changed to reflect the album article? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.20.106.180 ( talk) 14:29, 22 January 2010 (UTC)
How should i go about with Joe Goddard's solo project - His album, Harvest Festival has been released and reviewed by several reputable music review sites pitchfork... nme and the guardian Should i make a section on this article, or make him his own article (removing the redirect to here)? I just attended the first night of their 2012 show starting in the US and, as listed on their website via twitter she was not able to secure a visa for this leg of the tour. A replacement was found. This should be reflected. 66.246.173.34 ( talk) —Preceding undated comment added 23:34, 16 July 2012 (UTC)
"Joe Goddard has also released solo productions including "Bassline '12" and "Gabriel", the latter of which was featured in the 2013 video game Grand Theft Auto V.[9]"
Not in that citation, the only Hot Chip song in GTA V is "Flutes". -- NoToleranceForIntolerance ( talk) 04:17, 11 May 2017 (UTC)
