The article on Thessaloniki has an excessively long history section. I indicated that it needs cutting by half. So as not to loose anything, I transfered the history section of that article onto this one and nothing has been added (exept the intro) or removed; it seemed an appropiate beginning. Thanks. The coin shown might have been minted under Cassander (impossible to tell from the obverse, the front), but it actually depicts Herakles. There aren't any coins that show Cassander actually. I suggest some other image take that one's place because of this. Not sure what though. --Jokundubitsky 7/11/21
