---Second Settlement---
I have made a few changes to the 'second settlement' section (changes dated 28 November 2011), clarifying certain points and adding references to recently published research which draws into question assumptions about this period. I also removed a clause suggesting the 'His Natural Life' was based on Price Warung's writings; Warung's convict-related short stories appeared after 'His Natural Life' was published as a book in 1874. Hope it's all okay! Cheers. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 144.82.107.54 ( talk) 12:48, 28 November 2011 (UTC)

I was about to add an unreferenced tag to this section, but realized it's word-for-word the same section from the main Norfolk Island page, just unsourced. I'm a brand new editor trolling for typos and this feels beyond my pay grade - just wanted to point it out. Wineguard ( talk) 01:03, 30 June 2023 (UTC)
