Has anybody been able to see a photo of Hiromu Arakawa online anytime? If you do, give me the name of the source. Besides that, can somebody please upload a picture of her, you know the way she depicts herself as a cow? Thanks. -- CagedInsomniak 22:48, 13 December 2005 (UTC)
Ohhh, I get it, she draws herself as a cow-like figure because she worked at a dairy farm! Ahhh.
This photo from the 49th Shogakukan Manga Awards (definitely what the banner in the background says) is reportedly Arakawa (at center) with the other four award winners from 2004 (Takatoshi Yamada, Hiromu Shinozuka, Aya Nakahara, and Takashi Hashiguchi). http://web.archive.org/web/20041027034313/http://yoh.huming.com/poo/poo/picdata/Upload_20048413231.JPG -- Asterphage 08:55, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
Is she the girl in the black suit? Is anyone going to magnify the image and put it in the website? Although doesn't Miss Hiromu Arakawa want to have her privacy, thats why hasn't had her picture taken very much? Maybe its best to leave the cow image on the page after all.
"She has no role to play in the making of the anime, other than being mentioned as the original creator of the franchise." -did she not talk about giving ideas to the anime team at the back of vol.8? This should be changed. Also, someone should mention about her work with disable individuals before she became a mangaka, which had inspired Fullmetal Alchemist. -- itakoaya
How do you know this (the part about disabled indiv. work)?-- Chickentoo 01:11, 31 December 2006 (UTC)
Where did the information on this page come from? Anybody know? -rotary
Should the B-movie quote in the lead really be formatted that way? Rather non-standard, and it clashes displeasingly with the picture's box in my Firefox. -- maru (talk) contribs 03:24, 16 March 2006 (UTC)
I'm pretty much obsessed with Fullmetal Alchemist (it comes right after Metroid and Star Wars on my obsession list). As one could immagine, I'd like to know more information about its creator. There must be more information than this. Does anyone know more, and if not, where can some more information be found? -- Gaming King 06:31, 9 April 2006 (UTC)
Well I looked at the Japanese-wiki page for her, and judging from a babelfish translation, there seems to be more information on it. It's here:
http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E8%8D%92%E5%B7%9D%E5%BC%98
could someone who reads Japanese check it out?--

I had to do a multi-genre project on Arakawa-sensei, and I got most of my information from mobuta.com/arakwa. I'm pretty sure there's more there than in the English wiki article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.23.111.128 ( talk) 17:51, 14 August 2008 (UTC)
I'm not the most up to date person in the world, but there has been a lot of gossip about Hiromu Arakawa being a man who is transsexual. I'm not sure if that is totally correct (and I will check the source) but I just wanted to ask if that was appropriate to add into Wikipedia. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Chronicles1289 ( talk • contribs)

Shouldn't we replace the cow picture? Judging by the discussion above this has been here for a long while. Is it really acceptable to have it on here? NarSakSasLee ( talk) 12:27, 23 December 2009 (UTC)
So, I found this picture ( here), not sure if it's actually her, but if someone can confirm it, I think it would be good to have somewhere on the article, although the main image should still be the cow portrait. Schiffy ( talk) 03:57, 22 April 2013 (UTC)
