I propose merging the article Innovation Middle School to this page. The usual practice at Wikipedia (see WP:SCHOOLOUTCOMES) is that elementary schools and middle schools do not get an article of their own unless they are UNUSUALLY notable, as shown by the school having received significant coverage from independent reliable sources. That is not the case for Innovation Middle School; all of the links provided are to the school itself. The Innovation Middle School page should become a redirect to San Diego Unified School District as is usually done for middle schools. -- MelanieN ( talk) 20:32, 29 October 2013 (UTC)
I propose merging/redirecting the article Pershing Middle School (San Diego) to this page. The article is completely unsourced. It has been unreferenced since its creation in 2006 and tagged as such since 2009. Thus nothing in the article (including the list of alumni that was cited in keep arguments) is verified. The article was nominated for deletion in 2008; the result was to keep but consider a merge. Nobody followed up. My brief search for sources turned up just routine stuff, nothing significant; this appears to be a run-of-the-mill middle school. As such it should be redirected to San Diego Unified School District, as has been done with most other middle school articles per WP:SCHOOLOUTCOMES. (An exceptional few do have articles because they have received significant news coverage.) -- MelanieN ( talk) 22:39, 12 November 2013 (UTC)

I am in San Diego applying to be a substitute teacher at SDUSD. And as a long time wikipedians this page really surprised me. Anyone watching it with time enough to collaborate on some updates? I can post to Talk page but should not edit article directly (COI). DrMel ( talk) 23:07, 3 July 2023 (UTC)
