Variant spelling?

Is "Heirophant" a variant spelling of this word? In the beginning of the Celestial Chorus book (for Mage), there's a tarot card that says "Heirophant" on it. That's also the way that Manson fan site is spelled.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 192.154.130.112 ( talkcontribs) 00:18, 2 February 2006 (UTC). reply

It's just a spelling mistake. 213.249.135.36 19:07, 5 June 2006 (UTC) reply

Fortean Times

Under "Popular culture", the Fortean Times column is mentioned twice. I'd delete the first one myself, but I don't want to step on anyone's toes.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.175.20.217 ( talkcontribs) 15:10, 30 September 2006 (UTC). reply

i suppose she does count as a hierophant, but the inclusion of a video game character on such a page seems a little...strange. im kinda curious if there was an actual person here...

Nestorius

Can anyone explain why this page links to Nestorius? Grailknighthero ( talk) 18:44, 4 March 2009 (UTC) reply

Merger proposal

I propose that Hierophylakes be merged into Hierophant. I think that these words have significantly overlapping definitions (Hierophantai is listed as a synonym of Hierophylakes). Elriana ( talk) 14:32, 23 July 2015 (UTC) reply

Closing, given that this is a stale proposal with no support; the names are similar, but not the same, and the descriptions are different. The pages are already linked via the "See also" sections. Klbrain ( talk) 17:00, 25 October 2017 (UTC) reply
