article: hidaya

The article is dogmatic, rather than descriptive or scholarly. The Quranic exegesis of "hidayah", though interesting and informative in its own way, is someone's exegesis, and not encyclopaedia information. The information about the legal book Hidaya mostly expresses the veneration accorded this book in the Subcontinent (it is not so highly regarded outside this area, as far as I know), as if this were "fact." I see that religiously enthusiastic articles are a general problem with the encyclopaedia. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Sumayya22 ( talkcontribs) 21:45, 7 May 2007 (UTC). reply
