What is meant by it being the "Worlds largest selling motorcycle"? Does this mean number sold per year, or number sold to date, or what? I'm rather sure the Honda Cub has it beat on both counts.
I've found multiple news articles that say Hero Honda produces the largest number of motorcycle units per year, although I believe that in yearly sales dollars Honda and Yamaha hold the #1 and #2 spots. In any case that info would belong on the
Hero Honda page. I couldn't find a source to verify that the Splendor is in fact the largest selling bike (in units). I'm sure there are other models that are the bring in the largest dollar amounts. A lot of this market research data is proprietary so you have to buy the reports if you want to find out.

Hero Honda Splendor+ is not a other name for the Splendor. Splendor+ is a newer Generation of the Splendor with more modern parts and some optical differences.
