A two-term Governor of Oklahoma and a United States Senator to boot! This article needs expansion. ProfessorPaul

Error about the term limit

Under the Oklahoma constitution at the time, the governor of Oklahoma could not "succeed himself." This means a governor could not serve two consecutive terms, but could run for office again.

This was repealed later, but I do not remember when. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Soonerted ( talkcontribs) 19:08, 14 October 2008 (UTC) reply
