The German version of the article says that he died on April 4, 2003, which would not be surprising considering his age, but I can't find any other sources to confirm that he is dead. Everyking 04:23, 18 Apr 2005 (UTC)
I think we can trust other language Wikipedias and incorporate that information. I tried a Google search [1] but what it turns up seems to be mainly Wikipedia mirrors. Did find one article in French, entitled "Les auteurs de la solution finale en France devant la justice allemand", in the Jan. 2006 issue of a Jewish publication [2] (PDF).
