"Loves Missy Higgins"? Now there's something that anyone looking up a person in an encyclopaedia really needs to know -- their opinion on Missy Higgins. But wait a minute! The George Bush article doesn't have any mention of what he thinks of Missy. Why not just list the contestants, the finalists, whatever, on the main Australian Idol page? I mean, with the best will in the world, you're reduced to what's her favourite colour to make any sort of article about Hayley, and that's the province of Smash Hits! Dr Zen 00:26, 8 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Introduction Hayley Jensen, 4th finalist from the 2nd Season of Australian Idol, on Network Ten.
After being turned back from an audition, performing Christina Aguilera's The Voice Within, in her hometown of Canberra - denied by Idol judges Ian "Dicko" Dickson and Mark Holden, voted "yes" by Marcia Hines - she travelled to Sydney to try again. This time Mark Holden changed his mind and agreed to give her a chance to perform in the first round of Australian Idol in Sydney.
During the first round she performed Sarah McLachlan's Angel, thought by many of her fans to be one of her best performances of the competition. This performance resulted in the viewing public voting her straight into the Final 12. Also put through to the Final 12 from her group of ten, were Courtney Murphy and Chanel Cole, with the popular Ngaiire Joseph considered unlucky to miss out.
Judges Comments for Angel:
Killing Heidi - Weir
Anastacia - Left Outside Alone
Lulu - To Sir With Love
Yvonne Elliman - If I Can't Have You
George - Release
The Beatles - Yesterday
Martika - I Feel The Earth Move
Lauren Hill - Ain't No Mountain High Enough
Frank Sinatra - It Had To Be You
Nat King Cole - Nature Boy
Dido - Here With Me
There needs to be information on her post Idol activities such as supporting Jenny Morris and Christine Anu, performing in Iraq, etc. 144.53.251.2 04:22, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
Image:Notetoself.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

I propose Hayley_Jensen be merged into Australian_Idol_(season_2). I think the ongoing notability of the subject post-Australian Idol is questionable as the artist has largely fallen out of the public eye. The content of this article can easily be incorporated into the biography section of the Australian Idol season 2 article as with other contestants from the same season, like Em Rusciano and Amali Ward.
Please discuss this proposal on the Australian Idol (season 2) talk page here
