Is this guy the namesake of the Harry Fox Agency? Might be worth a mention if so.

I believe that the antecedent of HFA is the Music Publishers Protective Association, the general manager of which was named Harry Fox, but I have no evidence as to whether it's the same Harry Fox or not. 121a0012 ( talk) 05:28, 25 October 2011 (UTC) reply

It’s trivial to find references to the dance a decade before his association with it.

While he may have popularized the dance name somewhat, there is no way that his association with it in 1914 led to its adoption around the turn of the century. Far more likely derived from the horse gait. Qwirkle ( talk) 01:31, 29 November 2021 (UTC) reply
