Oppose his name is Sa-yid not Sedd; we commonly use the diaeresis in English to indicate when vowels are sounded separately, as in naïve, Brontë or
Saïd Business School. English does this to aid readers in pronunciation. Just because some minor html site has not done so for a minor Egyptian footballer doesn't mean we have to copy it.

Minor Egyptian footballer? Minor HTML site? I'm not sure how would you call those minors; but anyway apparently that's the way to spell it according to multiple sites. If Soccerway isn't enough, then the following websites also use that name:
Transfermarkt,
Egypt Today,
Al Ahram and
WhoScored. I'm sure that since this is the common way to spell the player's name, then this article should be moved per
WP:COMMONNAME. Hopefully those are enough.

Our article on the name is
Sa‘id, which doesn't mention Saïd; it may be the usual transliteration to French but it can be spelled various ways in English and this is not the most common. However, English-language sources in this article use Said, Saïd and Saied, and without evidence that any spelling is usual or official it probably shouldn't be moved; for example the reason for the move from
Hani Said(
https://en.wikipedia.org/?title=Hani_Said&action=history).

Besides the sources I mentioned above, I'm pretty sure that Said is the most common way in Egypt to translate that name from Arabic to English; and I know that because I'm Egyptian. Also, there are many players with the same name and uses Said instead of anything else, including
Abdallah El Said,
Shawky El Said and
Omar El Said.
