Is it really appropriate to identify Tropsch as a Czech chemist without qualification, considering he was an ethnic German, born in a then German speaking area (Plana/Plan) of Bohemia in Austria-Hungary, who lived a considerable portion of his life in Germany and attended German educational institutions (though I suppose the German technical University in Prague could be considered both German and Czech)? I haven't edited the article yet because I've seen how messy similar articles have become and I'd like to avoid that. -- Toph99 11:05, 27 August 2005 (UTC) reply
