What more is there to say?? Pittising 21:16, 21 December 2006 (UTC)
What more can be said? I have found that a hangnail too small to be dealt with by scissors / clippers can be filed down to the point where it no longer causes discomfort. There, I feel better already. Myles325a ( talk) 04:51, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
Anecdotally, I will start popping up hangnails when I don't drink enough orange juice. I've found articles claiming a link between folic acid, vitamin C or zinc deficiency, but nothing definitive. At least, nothing that I would call a credible source. Still, I start drinking orange juice daily, and they go away. -- Javance ( talk) 05:23, 14 December 2008 (UTC)

The reference link "proving" this word exists is to a copy of this Wikipedia page. I've never heard of a "catchy" before, though you would call your nail a "catchy nail", when it keeps getting caught on things. Remove? Saint| swithin 09:27, 6 April 2010 (UTC)
