  • The article is long enough, new enough, and neutral. The only issues that I see are that "The film grossed over ¥10 billion, making it the second highest-grossing Japanese film of 2024 so far." needs a citation, the first paragraph needs to be cited, and that IMDb is not considered to be a reliable source for the cast. • In 2024, only two films grossed over ¥10 billion in Japan. To my surprise the best source I can find is this. NinetyNineDragon ( talk) 15:15, 28 May 2024 (UTC) reply
  • In addition, that is a promotional hook. It tells people "go and watch this film or else you miss out on something". Schwede 66 08:31, 22 May 2024 (UTC) reply
  • I believe simply the hook stating the film's commercial success does not mean it is promotional. NinetyNineDragon ( talk) 15:15, 28 May 2024 (UTC) reply
  • NinetyNineDragon has not commented on the above, and has not edited since May 28. I am marking this for closure unless someone wants to adopt this and address the above concerns. Z1720 ( talk) 00:57, 10 June 2024 (UTC) reply
I've taken a look at the article and regretfully I would second this being closed. The article right now doesn't seem to meet WP:DYKCOMPLETE and lacks more information about its development (i.e. information about its production, how it was made, how it adapted, and so on). The lack of information also means it is lacking in other possible hook options. Given concerns have been raised about the earlier proposal and how nothing else seems suitable, it seems that the article just isn't a good fit for DYK at this time.
