It seems Wikipedia ( Ahom related articles) is being targeted by activists of a revivalist group. Chaipau ( talk) 01:13, 29 December 2018 (UTC)

Habung was located on the confluence of the Brahmaputra and Subansiri river, i.e. in the region of present day Dhakuakhana in Lakhimpur district. All the copperplates also have been discovered around this area only.
Just because government has decided to make a temple in Dhemaji commemorating Sukapha's visit to Habung, it doesn't imply that Habung was located in Dhemaji in anyway. The Ahom organisations demanded the temple to be built there, so the government agreed. It has nothing to do with the historical accuracy of Habung's location. Citing newspaper articles on the building of the temple is plain stupidity and ignorance. Ananya Taye ( talk) 21:44, 13 April 2021 (UTC)
