This looks like a great topic for a page; a few suggestions.

• Formatting the references using the reference template or reference wizard. There should be a complete author list, italics, bold, quotes, etc as per Wikipedia style.
• Expanding some of the introduction and explanations to make them more accessible to an average reader, perhaps senior high-achool aged.
• A paragraph discussing one example of a habitat cascade with a photo
