"Rammed" seems to me (er, not exactly a nautical expert, no!) to sound somewhat deliberate. In this article, should it be a different verb, or qualified by something like "accidentally"? Or do you think it's OK? It just read slightly oddly to me, as if they had pointed the Barham at her with malicious intent ... Best wishes to all
