Looks like this article has also been struck (like Algonquin and Iroquois) by the DDG/DDH issue. Both seem to be used on the internet to refer to Athabaskan, but the ship's website says DDG. Wikipedia is extremely inconsistent on the matter. Is there an authoritative source we could use to resolve this? Perhaps an official CF document? - Joshuapaquin ( talk) 18:58, 20 June 2010 (UTC)

I'm sure Jane's has something on it. I know it was switched to DDG sometime when being a Helicopter Destroyer wasn't as important as being a Guided-Missile Destroyer, probably when the roles of the Iroquois class switched from anti-submarine to command and control.
