I noticed the caption on 2 photos of the grounded Barcoo at West Beach have an incorrect date of August in the caption. It should be April. The storm that washed the Barcoo shore was on 11Apr1948 as reported in The Advertiser and elsewhere on 12th April 1948. The correct date is in the body of the article.
