According to the article, 1700 square meters, but if you check it out here: http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&safe=off&q=ritz+paris+pool&gs_sm=e&gs_upl=1676l3380l0l3564l15l10l0l2l2l0l310l1449l1.4.2.1l8l0&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.&biw=1415&bih=1030&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=isch&source=og&sa=N&tab=wi
it can't be more than 200 square meters, so surely this is a mistake? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.148.49.90 ( talk) 03:45, 6 August 2011 (UTC)
The article currently contains a reference to Diana & Dodi Fayed's visit prior to their death in 1997. Pamela Harriman died in the pool at this hotel (also, coincidentally, in 1997). Should these items be moved to a new section? Or should Harriman also be added to the History section? Or simply not included at all?
I am removing the following text:
because while this is a great scene, it simply does not take place at the Ritz! The hotel featured in the movie is the Hôtel Raphael Paris, located at 17 Avenue Kléber, close to the Arc de Triomphe which is visible as the two guys exit (or rather are thrown out of) the hotel. This is a quite different area of the city.
BTW, as of 2006, the "Presidential Suite" which they try to obtain costs 2680 euros per night. "Standard" rooms there start at 465 euros. I wonder how expensive the Ritz itself is. 82.124.253.133 18:36, 14 October 2006 (UTC)

There is good stuff in this article, but there is quite a bit that needs to be fixed before it meets GA standards, in my judgment:
Please consider the above. I'll put the review on hold meanwhile. Tim riley ( talk) 10:19, 29 May 2011 (UTC)
The nominator seems to be a vanished user, having quit Wikipedia shortly after nominating this article. I saw, but cannot now find, a notice by the user to that effect a few days ago. My problem is therefore that I cannot promote the article as it stands, but I do not feel I can make the amendments suggested above and then promote the article myself. I should like a second opinion on my view that with the few changes requested above, the article would be of GA standard. Tim riley ( talk) 16:59, 3 June 2011 (UTC)
I am taking over the formal review. Racepacket ( talk) 13:22, 8 June 2011 (UTC)

Very pleased indeed to see Dr. Blofeld back in circulation. I pass the baton back to him and will watch the progress of this article with benevolent interest. Happy editing to all! Tim riley ( talk) 15:56, 8 June 2011 (UTC)
All issues mentioned above I gather have been addressed by Tim himself. Kudos. ♦ Dr. Blofeld 17:27, 8 June 2011 (UTC)
Thank you for your excellent edits. One final recommendation: I would change "including the attic"->"including the Mansard roof". Congratulations on another Good Article! Racepacket ( talk) 19:09, 8 June 2011 (UTC)
Done, thanks!♦ Dr. Blofeld 20:27, 8 June 2011 (UTC)
The Imperial Suite is located on the first floor Are you sure? This seems odd. Does this actually mean the first floor ABOVE the ground floor? And yes, I do need an answer on this. Thanks in advance. -- 24.21.220.126 ( talk) 07:54, 29 August 2011 (UTC)
Yes that's right. Its not exactly a conventional skyscraper hotel in which the penthouse is on the top floor.♦ Dr. Blofeld 09:27, 29 August 2011 (UTC)
Cyberbot II has detected that page contains external links that have either been globally or locally blacklisted. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed, or are highly innappropriate for Wikipedia. This, however, doesn't necessarily mean it's spam, or not a good link. If the link is a good link, you may wish to request whitelisting by going to the request page for whitelisting. If you feel the link being caught by the blacklist is a false positive, or no longer needed on the blacklist, you may request the regex be removed or altered at the blacklist request page. If the link is blacklisted globally and you feel the above applies you may request to whitelist it using the before mentioned request page, or request its removal, or alteration, at the request page on meta. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. The whitelisting process can take its time so once a request has been filled out, you may set the invisible parameter on the tag to true. Please be aware that the bot will replace removed tags, and will remove misplaced tags regularly.

The Metro is reporting that there is a large fire in the roof of The Ritz. I'd add the info myself but I have to go out soon. Mjroots ( talk) 09:15, 19 January 2016 (UTC)
We've got way too much WP:PEACOCK sourced to the hotel's (now dead) web site. This should all be removed. I took out a couple of them. Per WP:PRIMARY, the hotel should only be used for undisputed facts, like say the hotel's street address. Kendall-K1 ( talk) 14:01, 19 January 2016 (UTC)
