"Gwithian was also the former administrative centre of the Hundred of Penwith"

shouldn't this go to Gwinear-Gwithian rather than here? Mammal4 20:10, 20 June 2006 (UTC) reply

Yes I agree now moved to Gwinear- Gwithian thanks for pointing that out mammal Reedgunner 10:21, 21 June 2006 (UTC) reply

Removed...

I've removed "three miles of golden sands" for being irrelevant and probably copy-pasted from elsewhere, and "and the Sunset Surf Cafe situated adjacent to the carpark is a great place to relax any time of year. More information on Sunset Surf Cafe & Shop is available on their site http://www.sunsetsurfshop.co.uk including a full menu and surf hire and surf school prices. There is also another smaller cafe further along the beach called the Jampot."

for reading like a travelogue and an advert. Useful info but if you're gonna use wikipedia for promotion, you could at least re-word it to hide the fact.

Clean-up

I've tidied this article up substantially to bring it in line with other Cornwall places articles and to remove irrelevant material. Some of it was like a travel brochure and there was also surfer jargon. It still needs references though. Andy F ( talk) 19:14, 5 April 2010 (UTC) reply
