Kurt Gänzl's encyclopedia says Bolton died 6-Sep-1979. IMDb and IBDB say 5-Sep-1979. The NYTimes obit, dated 6-Sep-1979, says Bolton died Tuesday which was 4-Sep-1979. -- Joseph Hewes ( talk) 16:07, 22 July 2009 (UTC)
Bolton's birth year is widely reported as 1884, but some sources say 1882. Various obits say he was both 94 and 96 years old at the time of his death. Ancestry.com has records with a variety of birth years from 1880 to 1884, some differing ones apparently in his own hand. Most credibly, perhaps, there is a record for "Guy Bolton, age 8, of Charlton Marshall, Dorset; born Broxbourne, Hertfordshire" in the 1891 English census and a US Social Security death record which gives date of birth 23-Nov-1882. -- Joseph Hewes ( talk) 05:12, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
You could have a Guy Bolton template here, but not templates for his individual works. -- Ssilvers ( talk) 19:15, 8 May 2013 (UTC)
