Is this city north or south of the Berm?

Initially the text was "The city though on the coast is under the control of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic and not Morocco due to the border stretching along the territory's southern border." I added a 'citation needed' to this and shortly afterwards it was changed to "The city is under the control of Morocco" [1] (among other edits). But again no source is given.

Perhaps not a reliable enough source for Wikipedia, but OpenStreetMap shows Guerguerat solidly on the Moroccan-controlled side of the berm - a conclusion supported by the apparent course of the berm on Google's satellite imagery. GeoEvan ( talk) 11:03, 4 January 2017 (UTC) reply
