Guaibasaurus is actually the most basal theropod, thereby being the ancestor of the Neotheropoda.
Its actually a basal sauropodomorph. Magnatyrannus ( talk) 04:08, 8 January 2022 (UTC)
Given that Saturnaliidae is now considered a separate family, and that no other taxa definitively belong to this clade, I'm making a merge proposal that involves Guaibasauridae being redirected to Guaibasaurus, due to it being possibly monotypic.
