Keep?

She's the lead singer of a band on the recent Snakes on a Plane Sountrack and appeared in Teen People recently. I believe that both of these warrent a wikipedia page, though this probably should be marked as a stub. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.15.21.160 ( talk) 00:12, 13 September 2006 (UTC (UTC)

Merge with The Hush Sound. She's not notable on her own. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 134.173.94.21 ( talk) 09:05, 14 September 2006 (UTC) reply
The paragraph is currently poorly written and doesn't even seem true. I looked for a while and was unable to find any biographical information about her on the internet. I'd revert it to an earlier version but I don't know what to revert it to because I don't know if the page ever had true information... 88.198.14.248 21:06, 27 September 2007 (UTC) reply

I have to agree with the other commenter, if this is all that can be said about this individual, her musical success does not warrant a biographical entry on Wikipedia. The arguments for a her having a page boil down to singing on solo projects or as part of different musical groups, which has brought a low level attention. The counter argument is that she has been performing professionally for 15 years, and she does not appear to have charted any songs, received any musical awards, had her music appear in a high-profile setting, participated in any high-profile musical tours, or had any national tv exposure (e.g., SNL, late night tv appearance, etc.). Indeed, based on editing of the article, it seem clear her career has not progressed much in the past six years. In my mind, the arguments against this page out weight the arguments for this page. Gold Motel

Even though I think it's good to add that this is her Solo project I don't think it's appropriate to have tracks listed as those should be under their respective CD, or ep/lp release. I also think that her successful start of a solo project adds to her notability. I may look at this again in coming weeks for improving. MikelZap ( talk) 08:29, 6 August 2010 (UTC) reply

Oh, you're quite right. When the track listings were added, there was no Gold Motel article. That article was created in May and then quietly wikilinked to in this article by the same user. Do feel free to make the changes you feel are appropriate. Maybe there's more material or newer sources now, too (I haven't looked). —  JohnFromPinckney ( talk) 12:51, 6 August 2010 (UTC) reply
