Does anyone have the story on Buchart's departure as leader? CJCurrie 22:23, 14 July 2005 (UTC)
"The party is legally autonomous from the Green Party of Canada, though for several years many of its members also belonged to the Green Party of Canada in Manitoba, a federal organization established in 1996. (The two organizations were separated in May 2005.)"
Since the organizations were never formally linked, how could a "separation" have occurred? Could someone please clarify? CJCurrie 01:23, 7 August 2005 (UTC)

Hello Folks:
I have just performed some very small updates to the Infobox and added a couple of citations. I notice that this page is not in the best of shape (poor citations, infrequently edited so out of date) so I would like to do some work to help rectify that. I would like to start by helping to find more citations, which I may do in many small bursts or a couple of larger edits. I will also have a look through the article more closely and ask questions here if I think major edits need to be made.
I do need to declare a possible conflict of interest for this page: I am a member and volunteer for the party and I am an elected officer to the Executive council, serving currently as interim youth representative. I understand It'd be preferred for someone else to update this page, but in several years it seems to have recieved very little attention, so I want to just help get the ball rolling again. I am not contributing to this page at the request (nor with the knowledge) of the GPM. I do not think I should run into many (if any) conflict of interest issues as my role in the party is rather minor and insignificant, but regardless I will focus on small edits for the time being and make sure to consult this talk page frequently.
Lastly, I am pretty new to Wikipedia, so please take every opportunity to let me know what I'm doing wrong - I really appreciate it.
