Opening Line
Just being pedantic, but the opening sentence lists status and power as "material". I think the sentence might be better if it left out the word "material". Then it would read: "Greed, or avarice, is an inordinate or insatiable longing for gain, be it food, money, status, or power." Maybe that's a little awkward, but maybe a better wordsmith could come up with something. SCooley138 ( talk) 06:10, 28 February 2020 (UTC)
