Are there no swimmers in Team GB? Roger ( talk) 19:49, 21 August 2012 (UTC)
There is a lack of information across WP on what the various disability classifications - S6, S7, etc. - in the different events, such as swimming, actually mean, other than in occasional articles like S8 (classification). Is this being addressed? Ghmyrtle ( talk) 09:00, 1 September 2012 (UTC)
"The team is also referred to as "Team GB".[3] Representatives of the devolved Northern Ireland government have objected to the name, which they argue creates a perception that Northern Ireland is not part of the British team, and have called for the team to be renamed as Team UK.[4][5]" This is incorrect, "Team GB" is the Olympic team, the Paralympic team is "ParalympicsGB", though presumably NI's objection would remain the same - though calling it UK instead of GB would still be incorrect as the teams include people from the Isle of Man and Channel Islands which are not part of the UK. -- Arwel Parry (talk) 13:14, 1 September 2012 (UTC)
