If no one opposes, I will trim the current Examples section down to a handful of properly-cited entries covering the different topics now present. Editors seem to have turned it into an exhaustive list, rather than merely examples, and many of the entries are not sourced. The article is worse for it, because most are highly specific examples (e.g., regarding particular sports leagues) of trivial explanatory value. Knight of Truth ( talk)
I'm not sure the best way to correct this (I may try to later if someone else doesn't beat me to it) but Truman did in fact attempt re-election in 1952; however due to a poor showing in the Democratic primaries, he chose to drop out of the race early in the primary elections. It is true he never attempted to run for president in any election after 1952 though. 2601:1:C100:2C90:59A8:48CB:D6BC:A8A4 ( talk) 02:03, 5 December 2014 (UTC)
The section explains three times the same concept (namely restriction of voting rights). It should be trimmed down and sources unified. 2001:620:618:5C0:2:80B3:0:5E ( talk) 07:33, 9 September 2022 (UTC)
