Some of the edits seemed to me to make things less clear. Why was the fact that it was UK based removed? Mentioning the painting once seems enough to me. What was the company named from 1907 to 1910? The "Gramophone Company" were on the circulation list of government reports concerning radio direction finding stations in WW2 from the Signals Research and Development Establishment. This would indicate that their London company were probably involved in supplying equipment for military use. It would be nice to confirm that this was the same organisation. Another puzzle!
