Although perhaps not uncommon for articles of this kind (likely written by former students), this article's tone particularly caught my attention. I've gutted some large parts of it, including peacock terms and commentary, which did not maintain a neutral point of view.

I will leave the maintenance tag, since there's still a bit of rewriting to be done, which hopefully I'll be able to return to later.

I removed the information on James Stirling and the Pinjarra Massacre from the article because it is going off on a tangent. As far as I can tell, there has been no naming controversy relating to this school (at least none of the references said this), and so going into that much detail on James Stirling is unnecessary. Just because there was a naming controversy with the City of Stirling doesn't mean there was with this school. If it were to be added back in, it shouldn't be in the lead, and the references need to be clear that this school's name in particular is controversial.
