The man is the most important figure in urban planning in Western Australia, he is in some way responsible for all planning decisions taken in Western Australia. His Plan for the Metropolitan Region, Perth and Fremantle, 1955 was considered the bible of planning in Western Australia for around 30 years. He is more than worthy of an article. check the reference for a list of his achievements Hossen27 13:30, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
I've added lots of stuff, but I'm fairly new to wikipedia editing, so no doubt some of my formatting etc is a bit out. The page still needs some tidying up- especially the references/further reading sections. I'll try to get around to it.—Preceding unsigned comment added by SDavies ( talk • contribs) 12:03, 21 January 2008
It would be good to be able to add a photo. I'm not aware of one that's available or whether it could be used. Also, it would be good to include an image of the main plan from the 1955 report: [1] which could also be used on the Metropolitan Region Scheme page. Again, I'm not sure about copyright issues.—Preceding unsigned comment added by SDavies ( talk • contribs) 12:03, 21 January 2008
