Is LaMDA one model or a family of models?

Some sources say LaMDA is a model; some say it is a family of models. How can we reconcile these to avoid the ungrammatical "LaMDA is a transformer-based neural language models"? Nurg ( talk) 11:36, 18 June 2022 (UTC) reply

Fixed. It's a family of models. InfiniteNexus ( talk) 17:03, 18 June 2022 (UTC) reply

Proposed merge of Google DeepMind and Google Brain into Google Ai

Since Google DeepMind and Google Brain is merged by Google to create Google Ai - i think we can merge them together Gsgdd ( talk) 21:19, 10 November 2023 (UTC) reply

Huh? Google DeepMind and Google Brain did not "merge to create Google AI". DeepMind and Google Brain merged to create Google DeepMind. To accommodate this change, the page DeepMind was moved to Google DeepMind, and the wording on Google Brain was tweaked. In any case, it would be unreasonable to merge the substantial content of Google Brain into the very large Google DeepMind. InfiniteNexus ( talk) 04:36, 11 November 2023 (UTC) reply
There was a reorg - all AI groups were merged and come under one Google AI initiative. Its explained in the intro of this wiki. Gsgdd ( talk) 04:52, 11 November 2023 (UTC) reply
No, that is false. DeepMind and Google Brain were merged into Google DeepMind. Google AI had nothing to do with this. This is clearly explained on all three articles. InfiniteNexus ( talk) 04:55, 11 November 2023 (UTC) reply
