Central Expressway under the railroad that the Good-Latimer crosses at grade is unknown date - possibly 1950s
Selected maps that show US 75 on the Good-Latimer Expressway: 1960 1961 1979 - I wonder if it ever used the Central Expressway downtown? Probably not, as the North Central was built in the early 1950s. Signs installed ca. 1966 on IH 30 showed it as US 75, but presumably only because there was no interchange with Good-Latimer. This 1954 map is unclear about which way 75 went - also note that the South Central had not been built yet, so it used Grand Avenue, and then southbound directly to Lamar Street and northbound via Forest Avenue and another street (Colonial?). -- SPUI ( T - C - RFC - Curpsbot problems) 15:07, 1 May 2006 (UTC)
