There was an edit removing the info about St. George-related interpretation of these stones (which seems to be quite widespread, at least in the press), as well as about the wooden chapel. I have reverted it to the previous edit. Indeed, I failed to find a reference for this one, but I definitely read about it somewhere, if I'm not mistaken, in a context of history of local icons. Also the relation of the name "Golos" to "Veles" seems to be a rather known thing.
Please, generally, if you don't like these myths and find them "incorrect", create a subsection, and explain, why they are incorrect. If everybody write that "Golosov" and "Volosov" means "related to Veles" - it worth to be mentioned. If it is incorrect, please, write, why it is incorrect, and what is the correct toponymy for this name. Thank you. Khakhalin ( talk) 17:06, 25 July 2011 (UTC)
