If you look closely at the paper announcing the discovery of L 726–8, you can see that the horizontal line in the designation is an en-dash, not a hyphen or a minus. How much does anyone care? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 60.240.145.232 ( talk) 15:04, 17 February 2012 (UTC)

I know this may go a bit over the scope of Wikipedia but I was wondering when I saw the EDR3 parallaxes for this star system. It is not compatible with 26.5 year orbit and at max 8.8 AU separation of the 2 stars. Anyone knows which measurement is more likely to be wrong? 26.5 year orbit or EDR3 parallaxes?-- McBayne ( talk) 16:33, 7 June 2022 (UTC)
I propose that we rename this article to Gliese 65. This is the name that is most frequently used by research papers to refer to the entire system, examples include Kervella et al. 2016, Kochukhov and Lavail 2017, Barnes et al. 2017, MacDonald et al. 2018, and Fleming et al. 2022.
