Both articles have said for some time that they married in 1972, however this was not sourced. Where did this date come from? Today, Ronnie said Glenda's wedding dress was "more than four decades old" meaning they married before 19 July 1970. Anemone Projectors 21:54, 19 July 2010 (UTC)
Some people are saying she hasn't gone yet, is this accurate? Anemone Projectors 22:59, 3 January 2016 (UTC)
Does the "breaks of duration" rule apply to introducers (never discussed) or just to character durations (per current consensus)? Sean brought Glenda back completely separately from Dominic Treadwell-Collins. anemone projectors 14:15, 23 February 2017 (UTC)
The following quote. from the opening paragraph, has a couple of issues, I believe: "She was axed in February 2011 and departed on 8 March 2011."
Firstly, there's no citation to cover either of these dates.
Second, I have an issue with the vague use of "She" which could refer to the character Glynis Barber played, to Barber herself, and/or to both character and actress. I wanted to go with a clearcut reference to the actress vs. the character, but that meant I needed to know whether Barber gave notice she was leaving or she was given notice by the producers and, if possible, why they had done so. So far, I haven't been able to find what seems to me a definitive source which can be cited.
Third, shouldn't "axed" (which certainly implies the producers decided to let Barber go) be replaced with something less slangy? Still, to make that edit, one has to know what happened -- or be comfortable in stating that it is unclear precisely what happened, but the outcome was that the character of Glenda Mitchell appeared last on a given date. Again, this leads back to the point above: why did Barber leave EastEnders in 2011? I will continue to look for a reliable source, but thought I'd bring this up.
This is my first post to the Talk forum; I hope I made sense. Jskoch2022 ( talk) 20:29, 14 April 2022 (UTC)
