Anyone know why the usual standard (<name> river) is reversed for this river? Every river here List of Minnesota rivers is standard format. - Ravedave 20:54, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
I was wondering why it makes such a sharp bend near what is now Mankato. Is there any geologic explanation that would improve the article? 206.53.193.36 ( talk) 18:14, 3 August 2010 (UTC)
I have removed the NNL infobox from this article as the designation covers only a portion of the ancient river channel in Big Stone and Traverse counties in Minnesota and Grant and Roberts counties in South Dakota, with a lake on either side (in context, these are Lake Traverse and Big Stone Lake). See NNL designation. Although the name is "Ancient River Warren Channel", it is clear from the text that the only portion of the river's course with the designation is the area described there.
