Recent edits have added lots of detail in a saccharine, non-encyclopedic tone that's inappropriate for Wikipedia. A few examples:
These sound like statements from Give Kids The World's own publicity material, not excerpts from a neutral encyclopedia article. The organization has a noble purpose but contributions to the article should be written without the sentimental tone. — Whoville 00:51, 28 December 2006 (UTC)

I don't believe the article was unsalvageable. I restored it and deleted the saccharine "story" from it. It could still use some rewriting and some sources. - Brian Kendig ( talk) 17:49, 21 May 2009 (UTC)
