An article written about Giuliano Ferrara in 1989 can describe his views in 1989. Those views may be quite similar (or not) to the views the man holds today and thus may be quite useful in describing his views in general. However we cannot validly use an article written in 1989 to DESCRIBE HOW HIS VIEWS HAVE EVOLVED SINCE 1989. Unless, of course, we use the 1989 source in conjunction with a post-1989 source. Hope this helps. Badmintonhist ( talk) 06:30, 15 July 2012 (UTC)
This article seems so biased from the beginning: "After active membership in the Italian Communist Party and later the Italian Socialist Party, in the 1990s he became a supporter of Forza Italia Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi" seems a lot like "Giuliano told his wife he wouldn't eat any more Nutella. Then he ate it 3 jars of it" . Tomlarey ( talk) 17:11, 19 November 2015 (UTC)
