I am confused what "mostly unpublished novel" means. Can an editor familiar with the circumstances of this book rewrite the sentence slightly to clarify? Professor marginalia 19:32, 21 January 2007 (UTC)

When I edited the article just now, the draft was red-tagged because the Officeholder Infobox included a parameter that didn't belong: Movement. (Note that I am using upper case here for emphasis; the actual values are all lower case.) Movement is a parameter for the Writer Infobox template. And it makes me wonder why Verga gets the Officeholder template. He was an honorary senator for little more than the last year of his life. Almost his entire life was occupied with writing, where he made a significant mark. I may get back to this and change the infobox to Writer. Larry Koenigsberg ( talk) 04:31, 25 July 2020 (UTC)
This article states that the story "Rustic Chivalry" was published in 1880 in The Life of the Fields (1880) (Vita dei campi). The Wikipedia article Cavalleria rusticana (short story) states that it was published in 1883 in Novelle Rusticane. Maurice Magnus ( talk) 03:03, 28 December 2022 (UTC)
