I have February 18, 1817 as his date of death. Probably this is a difference in calendar (Old Style vs. New Style). However, the dates still don't quite agree. (They are one day off.) Also, when an event could have been recorded under both calendars, I think it's important that we include both dates, to avoid confusion. Rbraunwa 16:11, 18 February 2006 (UTC)
Why hasn't this article been submitted as a GA or FA candidate? The lack of inline cites will doubtless upset the reviewers there, but it might be worth a punt to see how else the article could be improved. Seem like it's an easy project to lift this one. It's at least a GA/A in my opinion. -- Antischmitz 15:31, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
Yeah, it might have half a chance to be a good article if someone knowledgeable cleaned up the grammar and syntax. At present it's only semi-literate. Campolongo ( talk) 07:25, 17 October 2014 (UTC)
