The wiki page for General Samuel W. Crawford says ‘After the war, Crawford was prominent in preserving the Gettysburg Battlefield’. There is no mention of Crawford in the quite extensive attributions to other personnel in this context. Valetude ( talk) 12:24, 7 June 2017 (UTC)
