This is my first time with the talk pages and dealing with a situation like this, so please bare with me. I respectfully object to the deletion of this article for the following reasons. The notability guidelines wp:prof include
Gerceida Adams-Jones has done both of these. The APS Fellows award is a prestigious academic award at the national and international level.
"Each year, no more than one half of one percent of the Society’s membership"

The award itself is for her impact in the area of higher education. The citation [2] for her award is “For publicly addressing inequities in science education in physics and astronomy through the development of curricular materials and community activities, particularly within inner-city communities.”
